INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS – Weight, price
and timing!
Alcedo’s magazine subscription lasts for one year
from Jan to Dec, including all 6 issues, no matter when
required.
Single issues (standard subscription) and complete
“back years” (> 2 Kg) are sent every second month
using our private courier. Timing is not easily
predictable, as we must wait for the first shipment in
schedule after recording each order.
Single books (or maximum 2 books) and posters will be
sent more rapidly, once a week, using an
“international registered mail” with a cost of 20 €,
being 2 Kg the maximum weight allowed for this kind of
shipment. Usually 20 € is enough for sending two books
in Europe or one book in the Rest of the World, but
there are a few exceptions listed below (*).
Free shipment for orders exceeding 100 €
is only valid for Italy.

(*) ATTENTION, sometimes due to
their weight, we’re not able to send 2 books with the
faster service and we must wait for the standard
shipment, every second month, with our private courier!
To have a faster service, extra shipping costs have to
be paid, “using properly” on our basket different
multiples of the item “payment difference” (5 € each
time):

2 books in Europe if one is Agapornis or Atlante
CanarinoII = add 15 €
2 books in Europe if both Agapornis and Atlante
CanarinoII = add 20 €
REST OF THE WORLD
2 books outside Europe (Agapornis or Atlante CanarinoII
excluded) = add 10 €
2 books outside Europe if one is Agapornis or Atlante
CanarinoII = add 30 €
2 books outside Europe if both Agapornis and Atlante
